German troupes are to compete at Fajr Theater fest

German theater troupes request to participate at the Fajr International Theater Festival.

The Iranian officials of the festival are inspecting the Germans' request, hoping a big event to come up.

The annual Fajr International Theater Festival has been held in Iran since 1983, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers.

The festival is held during the Fajr Celebrations, which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.

The 36th edition of the event was held on January 18-29, 2018.
